Benham Baseball Cards
Does anyone else wonder what went wrong with baseball cards? I wondered long enough that I decided to do something about it. I collected cards as a kid, and I loved the sense of completion that it gave me when I finally gathered all of the cards for a set, or pulled another card of my favorite player that I needed. Today, I don't have any interest in collecting cards for myself. I changed that interest into wanting to get cards to other people that want to collect. I have spent the last 8 years trying to find a way to get baseball cards to other people at the lowest prices possible so they can enjoy the newest cards at the old card prices. I have figured out a way to absorb most of the inflated costs involved in baseball card prices without losing money on my end, or making people overpay for simple, easy-to-get cards. I pushed myself to find a way to cut down the prices of cards, and it wasn't easy to find it either.
I want to welcome everyone to Benham Baseball Cards.com. I am Kristofer Benham, and I created this store after many years of research, trials, and errors. The purpose of the store is to supply people with a place to purchase great conditioned single cards at prices that are based on my cost, and how much time I spend getting them prepared. Cards here are not priced at the inflated market values that have become unrealistic today.
Most people are also familiar with sellers on popular auction sites that overcharge on shipping and handling prices to make profit in a very deceiving way. That is not going to happen here. I charge $1.99 Shipping for up to the first 95 cards, and then minimal increases for card amounts above that. The shipping always stays below what it actually costs to ship the order, and then I allow some of the profit from the card prices pay for a small portion of the shipping. This ensures that you will never overpay for shipping here.
The best part for you in this whole process is that I am the only one here. I simply can't trust that another person will share the same exact desires that I have when working with these cards, so I have to do it on my own. This is the only way that I can guarantee consistency in everything that is involved with this store. I will do everything in my power to provide to you what I would want if I were a customer, and I demand a lot when I purchase things like cards.
Please feel free to wander around the store to see the high-quality scans that I have posted, or to see what cards I may have in stock. There is no pressure to buy anything at Benham Baseball Cards because I don’t need to sell cards. I have a normal job to get money from, and then I use all of my extra money to get more cards. I just do this for fun, and to encourage people to start or finish collections so they can enjoy baseball cards like I did as a kid. Helping people experience the enjoyment that collecting can bring is more important to me than money.
