***Site is ready and LIVE!!!***
Hello again everyone. As I promised, the site is working again, and better than ever before. I have now figured out how to make all of my cards searchable by teams, INCLUDING the multi-player cards. I am going to try a different approach to setting up the site this time around, a more detailed approach. I will be adding information to the listings for the cards that have any special characteristics, like other people in the photo, or if there are variations for that card, etc. I feel that it will help people when searching for the cards that they want. It takes tons of extra time to do this, but I feel that it will be beneficial, and I haven't seen another site that provides this kind of detailed information for you, so I will do it. Much of this information will be added after I post the cards into the site so people can get the cards that they need as quickly as possible. If you happen to have any info about card errors, or spot any odd details on cards that I may not know about, please use the Contact Us link to send me a message. If I can verify your info, I will add it to this site.
Great customer service is essential when selling anything, so rest assured that I will absolutely give my best level of care to each and every one of you. With that said, I would like everyone to keep in mind that I do this for a hobby, not for a stream of income. I want people to understand why I don't follow a stereotypical "business model". It is because this isn't a business, it is a hobby. I enjoy working with, and around, baseball cards. The work that I do with cards is done VOLUNTARILY, on top of the 50 hours that I physically spend at my real life job each week. I could simply use my money to enhance my personal life, like many people do with their paychecks, and I could use my personal time to rest, or watch TV, but I don't. Instead, I choose to do whatever you want to call what it is that I do here with cards. I feel that it will help many people in some way, and that is my motivation.
I take pride in providing the highest quality product possible to folks that are willing to give their hard-earned money to a complete stranger for cards. It is surely because of this that I sleeve each and every card that is, or will eventually be, available for purchase on this site. About 95% of the cards offered here are from brand new packages that I buy with my own personal money, and any money that I get from Benham Baseball Cards.com purchases. The other 5% are hard-to-get cards from Ebay, or cards that I have acquired in person, examined, and deemed to be in top level condition.
I do NOT have an endless flow of corporate money like other gigantic card and auction sites on the internet. Those people specifically sell cards to make profit. I am more concerned with avoiding the loss of money rather than making money. If I lose money, then I can no longer justify doing this. It would be a dream to sell cards for a living, but I just don't see it happening with the very limited amounts of money and time that I have to spend on cards, combined with the amount of fully-staffed, deep-pocket competition that I have out there. It is just me behind Benham Baseball Cards.
If you want to buy cards from me, go right ahead. If not, that is also perfectly fine. You are welcome to use the information contained in this site to benefit yourselves in as many ways as you can, even if you never buy a card from me. This includes using my card images, as long as the BBC watermark is not removed from them. Click on the image until it appears in a Light Box, then right-click on it, and hit "Save Image As". You can rename the image to whatever you want before saving it to your own computer.
For the last 2 years, the videos of my box breaks have been posted on YouTube, and can be freely viewed by clicking on the link below:
